Hopefully United are going about their business despite these distractions, yeah. I have to admit this is the most annoying window I've seen in a while plainly because of how predictable it is. Ronaldo "threatens to leave" because of the tax allegations, gets "calmed down" within 48 hours Lewandowski "feels unsupported by the club and wants to leave", Bayern clarify within 48 hours

At the moment I think I'm going to go on a football blackout for the next two months and tune back in on August 1st, because it's clear nobody knows what's actually going on and even the clubs seem to be flying blind right now.

Thats not a bad shout. I payed little to no attention last summer and turned pretty happy in the end so I dont know why I didnt do the same this summer and the windows not even technically open yet, loooong way to go all sorts of madness yet and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Or at least wait until we actually sign a player then worry about it rather than players we probably wont sign.

I watched a game today and the last 5 minutes were spent watching a ref watching a screen of the game. Crazyness, it must be the heat getting to everyone, time for some Glastonbury me thinks, chill out and live with the hippies for a bit.............

Yeah, exactly. At the moment it's just the papers playing everyone for fools - and the main reason we see this circus is because they know people are gluttons for punishment and keep following every minor rumour. I'm going to avoid Skysports and just ignore everything until at least mid-July, because they're clearly part of the problem now too. They used to be somewhat reliable, but now they're literally about as good as The Mirror.

Time to explore our other hobbies for a few weeks lads, crack out the video games, the golf clubs, etc and wait for all this to blow over

Well that didn't take long, Chile already up 1-0 vs Germany (Sanchez, who is now the all time leading goal scorer for Chile)

Good game Chile v Germany although it is a somewhat younger, inexperienced German side but still got some talent. Chile out playing them at the moment though, they are great to watch.

In local news here 3 River Plate players Lucas Martínez Quarta, Mayada and Sebastian Driussi have tested positive for doping ( which might explain why Driussi was able to tear apart the league this season)

Think he must have 38 now as he has just beaten Salas' record.

Oh nice. Congrats to him!

Shame Salas and Sanchez weren't around to be in the same Chile team.

Do you know what drugs it was? Hopefully they get long bans.

I hear it was hydrochlorothiazide

*update* Fox Sports have confirmed there are 7 cases.
